Creed of Violence Movie

Creed of Violence MovieBack in October 2008 Universal bought the movie rights to the Creed of Violence, a western drama novel written by Boston Teran. Universal actually bought those rights even before the novel was published, so I guess the studio feels that the story of Creed of Violence could be a hit. The story, set in 1910, revolves around an estranged father and son trying to thwart an arms smuggling ring bringing weapons to Mexico. Actor-turned-Director Todd Field is in charge of the script, he's also likely to direct the film. IMDb is listing the film for a release in 2012.

"Creed of Violence portrays the 1910 Mexican revolution via the gun sights of an unlikely duo: Rawbone, a hardened smalltime assassin, and John Lourdes, a Bureau of Investigation agent. The two are thrown together when Rawbone is caught smuggling munitions from Texas into Mexico and Rawbone's lawyer arranges a deal: immunity in exchange for Rawbone sharing his criminal intel. A bargain is struck, with Lourdes assigned to accompany Rawbone into the Mexican underground. The twist: Lourdes, unknown to everyone but himself, is Rawbone's son. As the two men make their way through a snake's nest of smugglers, thugs and professional killers, Lourdes must suppress the angst he feels toward his father and focus on surviving another day."

Judging from the plot summary, the movie Creed of Violence could be an epic western movie. But they have to cast the right actors. Who do you think could play as faster and son in the Creed of Violence movie?

Anyway, stay tuned with us for more details about the movie Creed of Violence.
